Intern Java developer

We are looking for a motivated Java Backend Intern to join our development team. This is a great opportunity for someone eager to grow professionally while gaining hands-on experience in building scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
Responsibilities:

Support the design and development of backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
Build and maintain RESTful APIs for internal and external use.
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
Collaborate with senior developers and participate in code reviews.
Work with relational databases and perform basic CRUD operations.
Test, debug, and troubleshoot backend applications.
Learn and apply best practices in software engineering and agile development processes.

Requirements:

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), design patterns, and basic algorithms.
Hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, and JPA (academic or personal projects count).
Understanding of RESTful API principles and experience creating or consuming APIs.
Familiarity with tools like Postman or Swagger for API testing.
Basic knowledge of build tools such as Maven or Gradle.
Experience with version control systems, especially Git.
Solid problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate effectively.
Willingness to learn and grow in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
Experience working with relational and non-relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
